public works. they say the only way that happens is they post a notice to the sight and reach out whenever possible and then remove the memorial. the spokes person was not able to tell us whether they took down this memorial. >> reporting for abc 7 news. thousands of firefighters are battling wild fires in california. flames continue to burn out of control threatening several neighborhoods. thick smoke is causing even more problem. we have details from los angeles. >> smoke hangs over the basin creating a dangerous health condition. the fire line strengths for 19 miles north of the city but far from the line in downtown los angeles, ash is raining down from smoke filled skies.
